Hyatt Regency Kyoto Hotel, Kyoto

My stay at this hotel was truly wonderful. The rooms were spacious and well-furnished, providing a calming view of the garden. The service was exceptional, attentive to every detail of my stay. While the location wasn't ideal for exploring on foot, it was convenient for accessing transportation options. The dining experience, although a bit pricey, offered a consistent but limited selection. Overall, a great value hotel with some areas for improvement.

I was amazed by the uniquely beautiful rooms at the hotel, with a large tatami room, screens, and a massive king-sized separate bedroom overlooking the serene garden with the coy fish. However, the rooms aren't overly spacious. The service was excellent and responsive to all our needs, going above and beyond to assist with shinkansen tickets and restaurant bookings. The location was fantastic, a short ride from Kyoto station and well-connected for exploring. Dining was on the pricey side, but I was able to get a special rate at check-in. Overall, a great place to return to after a day exploring Kyoto.
